About Pittsburgh Cello Fest
Pittsburgh Cello Fest is a day-long community event for cellists, cello enthusiasts and music lovers of all ages. Pittsburgh Cello Fest activities include masterclasses presented by members of the Pittsburgh Symphony, featured cello ensemble and chamber music performances, a children's cello group performance, and concludes with a large all-cello ensemble performance.
The 3rd annual Pittsburgh Cello Fest will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music in Alumni Concert Hall and Kresge Recital Hall in the Fine Arts building.
The festival is founded and directed by Cello Fury cellist and Carnegie Mellon University alumna, Nicole Myers, along with assistant director, Simon Cummings.
